Tony Bell – DMP-Harris / Axis Print

Tony is the Account Manager for Axis Print clients and new DMP-Harris clients.

Tony has been with DMP-Harris since 1992 with a break in between working in Australia.

His printing career started at an early age when, as a student, he and some friends started up an independent student newspaper, purchasing second hand equipment and working long into the night to get their voices heard. Tony found himself having to learn graphic design fairly quickly and this then continued on as he found himself in the printing industry later in his working life.

From graphic design to customer service / estimating to sales, Tony has accumulated a vast knowledge of print. Tony looks after the Axis Print clients as well as some DMP-Harris clients.

Married with two children and a typical Kiwi DIY fanatic – Tony has been doing up his house for several years now. Any day now they will have a front door!

Tony also continues to play hockey for the Auckland University Club and is often seen hobbling into work the day after a hard match where he has tried gallantly to keep up with players half his age!

Andrew Bothner-By – DMP-Harris

Andrew brings a wealth of print industry and graphic design experience to the company and has been an Account Manager with DMP-Harris since 2000.

Over 30 years ago his first job was as a graphic designer, known as a 'finished artist' in those days and using mostly pen and ink to create camera-ready (finished) art to be shot by a special camera, film made and then plates for the printing press.

Andrew has since spent the great majority of his working life in print and graphic design sales and is able to offer objective and knowledgeable advice on any aspect of your design, print and distribution project.

Andrew is married to Andrea and has two children, Annalisa and Ethan.

Andrews URL is “keenest golfer in the world” and he would love to chat about your game when you visit!

John Gilmer – DMP-Harris / Trueprint

John is the Account Manager for Trueprint clients as well as DMP clients.

John has been in the print industry most of his working life, starting in graphic design, doing a short stint in vehicle sign writing and ending up in sales. John took a few years out from the printing industry to do tour driving around the North Island which he thoroughly enjoyed.

The print industry soon beckoned again and John found himself in a sales capacity at Trueprint. When DMP-Harris bought Trueprint, John stayed on as the Sales Manager and continues to look after all Trueprint clients.

John is married with a young son and keeps himself fit through swimming and running after his son!

He has a long interest in cars being a member of the MG Car Club and is also a member of the Howick Club.

Victoria Nansen – DMP-Harris / Corporate Print Solutions

Victoria is a Business Development Manager, starting with Corporate Print in 2006.

From school Victoria started out as a bank teller, then worked in the airline industry in Australia for four years.

Returning home, Victoria found herself in the printing industry and spent a number of years with Geon Print Group in the production area before coming to Corporate Print Solutions as a sales rep.

Victoria’s passion has always been her Thai Kick Boxing. She has been competing successfully in this sport for over 20 years and with her partner owns and runs Smac Gym in Manurewa where they both train and compete.

Victoria was in Thailand at the end of 2009 with the New Zealand Thai Kick Boxing Team, where she was the Trainer for the female team.

Sales Support

Karl

Karl provides client and sales support and is responsible for quoting.

He has lived in Auckland all his life, in 12 different suburbs with his
19 year old cat and has travelled to Surfers, Perth and Bali (without his cat!).

Karl married Rachel in November 2012.

Karl has worked in the print industry since 1987 firstly as a Printer for 16 years then, as an estimator until the present, first with Takitimu Print, who were bought by Corporate Print Solutions in 2003, who were then bought by DMP-Harris in 2008. Karl has also spent two years as a Postman in the past.

Hobbies: Snowboarding + Rollerblading + Reading + Shopping + Music + Movies + Running + Playstation + Minigolf + Tennis + Playing the Drums + Facebook.

Brenda

Brenda is sales support for John Gilmer and Tony Bell.

Brenda arrived in New Zealand in 1996 with her husband and son, from Cape Town.

With an extensive background in secretarial / administration it did not take Brenda long to find employment.
Having worked for the Woolworths Group Head office, SA Litho Print and her own business, she soon found herself working at Axis Print in a receptionist / administration role.

When Axis print was bought by DMP – Brenda’s role changed and she is now sales support to both John Gilmer (Trueprint) and Tony Bell (Axis Print).

Brenda also has a married daughter and two grandchildren who currently live in Cape Town.

She loves baking and cooking and, we at DMP, look forward to her treats at morning tea.

Her hobbies are swimming, walking and gardening.
